Our Mission
The Black Authors Lab and Book Festival encourages the reading and writing of African American literature. Each of the writers invited to present their works offer a unique perspective based on their personal experiences growing up in the south. Each book details the African American Experience seen from the eyes of four generations of authors.
We feel it is our responsibility as African American authors, to reinvent the game of authorship and cater to the minds that are constantly evolving at a more rapid pace due to the ever changing landscape of technology and media. We as authors must reinvent and revolutionize the game of authorship. We have access to future leaders and we don't want to lose their power. We want to project an appreciation of our heritage.
